Chantal van Gils (1979) graduated as Medical Doctor in 2004 and in 2007 she obtained her masters degree in Health Economics. Subsequently she was appointed as researcher at the Erasmus University, institute for Medical Technology Assessment where she worked on her PhD in Health Economics/Clinical Epidemiology.


Anita van den Hoek PhD

Anita van den Hoek studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Utrecht and graduated in 2000. After that, she joined the Department of Endocrinology at the Leiden University Medical Center as a PhD student, supervised by Prof. Dr. H. Pijl (LUMC) and Prof. Dr. Ir. L.M. Havekes (LUMC/TNO). During this PhD project she investigated the role of the brain in insulin sensitivity/ Type 2 Diabetes, resulting in her thesis entitled: 'Insulin sensitivity - Modulation by neuropeptides and hormones'. Herman Wijshoff PhD

Herman Wijshoff was born September 3, 1961. He graduated from high school (Gymnasium) in Sittard. In September 1979 he started to study Applied Physics at the Eindhoven University of Technology. In 1986, he received his MSc degree in Physics on the behavior of two dimensional electron gases at semiconductor heterojunctions. In that same year, he joined the Research and Development department of Océ Technologies B.V. in Venlo. 



Rik Bisschop PhD

He is a specialist in soft soil mechanics related to projects with the construction of dikes, hydraulic fills, embankments for roads and housing areas, geotechnical constraints of landfills and plate foundations. Rik Bisschop received his MSc. Degree at the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering of the TU Delft in 1991. He started his career at the Waterloopkundig Laboratorium (present Deltares) where he was a research engineer studying on dredging related topics, like the behaviour of clay, sand and rock during dredging operations (cutting and jetting).


Cristina Nenu PhD

Born in Bucharest, Romania, studied chemistry and physics and completed a MSc in physics at University of Bucharest. Earned a PhD in catalysis at Utrecht University. Worked several years as a project leader in catalyst characterization at ZECASIN SA, Bucharest where collaborated with large oil companies: Exxon Mobil, Luk Oil, Cassale. In 2002, she started her doctoral studies in collaboration with Total Petrochemicals and joined Shell in 2007.
