Maarten Janmaat PhD

In 2006 Maarten obtained his PhD in the field of medical biology at the VUMC. After his PhD, he worked as a postdoc for a few years on two different projects in the same field. In 2009, he moved to the industry and started as a Scientist at Merus, which develops innovative antibody therapeutics. In addition to labwork, a lot of writing was involved in this position. In his current position as Scientific Writer at Genmab 


Daphne Pontier PhD

Daphne Pontier (1981) studied Biomedical Sciences in Leiden (2000). She performed her major research project at the University of California Berkeley and obtained her master's degree (cum laude) in 2006. Daphne then started her PhD research on genome instability Ronald Plasterk’s and Marcel Tijsterman’s lab at the Hubrecht Institute in Utrecht.


Mariken Rebers PhD

Mariken Rebers completed an MSc in Biology at Wageningen University in 1988. As part of her MSc, she worked for a year at the Institute of Biological Chemistry in Pullman Washington, USA. In 1989 she started her PhD on plant physiology in Wageningen. During this, she worked shortly in the Frontier Research Program at RIKEN institute in Wako-shi, Japan. After finishing her PhD she joined this Research Program, to work as postdoc on the cloning and expression of genes during tomato flower development.
